Job Functions
- Assist software users with questions on Olive Tree resources
- Assist customers with installation of Olive Tree Software; good
English skills are essential here
- Primary goal: customer satisfaction on all levels
Required Qualifications
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Some experience and/or knowledge of the customer service environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- A positive, friendly attitude with the willingness and ability to
help customers
- Ability to learn and share information with others
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a
fast-paced environment, while effectively managing multiple tasks
Ideal Requirements
- 2-4 years experience with Olive Tree software and resources
- Experience using different types of handheld PDA devices
- Christian Leader or teacher able to help others with various Bible Software tools
- Bonus - also able to help in Book Formatting (see job posting below)
- 1-2 years professional experience
- Experience as part of a multi-person software development team
- 2 - 4 year college degree
- Locations: Greater USA
- Most work will be done from home
- Self motivated and productive when not constantly supervised
Additional Useful Experience: (not required)
- Experience in Greek and Hebrew Biblical material or Bible Software

Electronic Book Formatter (Part Time)
Essential Job Functions
- Convert electronic text from provided source files into a working Olive Tree resource using tools provided
- Proof and QA electronic books that have been converted. Good English skills are essential here
- Consult with the engineers on designing/locating engineering resources to help on text formatting as needed in the course of formatting an electronic book
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate aptitude or experience in some computer programming and document conversion
- Good English grammar skills
Ideal Requirements
- 1-2 years professional experience
- Experience as part of a multi-person software development team
- Experience in computer programming, especially regular expressions
- 2 - 4 year college degree
- Locations: Greater Northwest (states of Washington, Idaho, Oregon)
- Most work will be done from home
- Self motivated and productive when not constantly supervised
Additional Useful Experience: (not required)
- Any computer script language
- Experience in Biblical material or Bible Software
- Experience in Biblical Greek and Hebrew
- Experience in the field of information retrieval

- Olive Tree Bible Software is looking for a part/full time engineer in Java J2ME.
- We have several Java BibleReader platforms and need to do more development.
Ideal Requirements: 3-5 years professional experience with Java, J2ME, and C++.
- Experience as part of a multi-person software development team.
- Experience in developing applications for the BlackBerry or J2ME cell phones.
- Locations: Greater Northwest (states of Washington, Idaho, Oregon)
